The MagSafe Charger is compatible with the Qi2 and Qi charging standards, so you can use it to wirelessly charge your iPhone 8 or later and AirPod models with a wireless charging case — just like any other Qi2 or Qi charger.
Magnetic alignment only works with iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, and iPhone 16.
