D3O® technology
D3O is a British company that develops technologies for shock absorption and damping. The technology used in the Battersea case uses the properties of an ultra-light elastomer that behaves like a non-Newtonian fluid. This means that this matter is liquid at rest, and when mechanically impacted it solidifies and behaves like a solid object, after a while at rest it "gives up" again. The impact energy is distributed over the individual molecules, which spend it on solidification. Thanks to the use of D3O®, your device is protected in the Battersea case in the event of a fall from a height of up to 5 meters.
